On behalf of the nearly 1,350 members of U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary District Nine Western Region, welcome to our website. Made up of 9 Divisions containing 49 Flotillas, we proudly serve Lake Michigan and its surrounding waters in portions of Michigan, Wisconsin, Illinois and Indiana. Our members actively promote recreational boating safety missions as all volunteers for the U.S. Coast Guard and regularly meet with the boating public at marinas and in classrooms.
